Moving into your childhood home often comes with a magnitude of wonderful memories, and a laundry list of necessary repairs! It can also be a highly sensitive challenge to show respect for the design decisions made and loved by the previous generations, while updating the home for the current era! But, if you know me, you know I love a challenge. We were able to refresh the whole look and feel of the home, correct a DIY renovation from ages past, and reclaim space to create a dreamy open concept kitchen and a perfect basement playspace for an incredible family.
